Northwest Custom Apparel is a family-owned custom apparel printing company serving the community since 1977. We’re seeking a full-time Direct-to-Garment Printer Operator to join our production team. The DTG method is a fast-growing printing method for full-color designs on t-shirts, and we’re proud to use eco-friendly inks for our printing.
As a DTG Printer Operator, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality t-shirts with full-color designs using eco-friendly inks. DTG Operator Job Description
Job Duties:
- Operate the Kornit, the direct-to-garment printer, to produce high-quality prints on t-shirts and sweatshirts
- Maintain and troubleshoot the printer as needed
- Understand basic graphic artwork and be familiar with Adobe Photoshop and different types of graphic files
- Use Windows 10 to drag and drop files and folders
- Lift and move up to a 40 lb box regularly
- Stand for 8 hours day-to-day while using your hands to load and offload t-shirts from the printer
- Count and fold t-shirts, and fill out paperwork for all orders
Requirements:
- Computer proficiency, including the ability to use Windows and move files and folders
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and different types of graphic files is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving production-type environment
- Strong math and counting skills
- Having a mechanical inclination is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment and exhibit excellent attendance
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and the willingness to learn new skills and grow with the company

Pay Scale:
- The starting pay rate is $16.00 – $17.00 per hour, depending on your qualifications and experience.
