Local family-owned apparel printing company of 40 Years is hiring a direct to garment printer operator. You will be getting in on the ground floor of this new and fast growing industry. We will train you to become an Operator using the best direct to garment printers in the world.
Are you computer savvy and production minded? Do you have an eye for detail? Are you willing to learn new skills and grow with a company?
Direct To Garment printing is printing full color designs on t-shirts and sweatshirts. The inks are clean and environmentally friendly. The printing technology is new and evolving all the time. This is not like your traditional messy ink silk screening.
The printers run on computers and robotic print heads. The printer is a size of a Volkswagen Beetle. The print heads look like a giant version of your desktop printer. Check the printer out:https://nwcustomapparel.net/dtg-printing/
This would be a full time job and we would train you on site. You must have computer knowledge and able to stand on your feet for 8 hours per day. Screen Printing background is a plus. This is a production job and you are required to work at a fast pace.
If you know the basics of drawing programs like Photoshop, Corel Draw would help you out tremendously.
You should be able to use Windows 7 and understand moving files around.
Tech Savvy: You will need to be mechanically inclined to adjust and fix minor issues with the printer.
Computer Skills: Understand Windows
Eye For color and artwork
Attention to Detail
Sort and Fold Shirts
Corel Draw and Photoshop is a plus
Lift a 50 lb box.
Reliable transportation and attendance
Stand 8 hours per day. This is a production job
We are a drug and smoke free workplace.
